Who Won Dancing With The Stars 2010 In Finals Cast:The final three face off on Day 1 of the
Dancing with the Stars final as they perform a redemption dance and the much-anticipated freestyle numbers.
Nicole Scherzinger has been called the best celebrity dancer ever to grace the stage of "
Dancing with the Stars." The problem is she seems to be too good, causing some fans to grumble. Tonight, the Pussycat Dolls lead singer and her partner Derek Hough ended the night tied for first place with Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Scherzinger and Hough performed the rumba to "The Lady in Red" by Chris De Burgh for a 28 (9, 9, 10). During week 4, they received a 25--both for technique and for performance.
Carrie Ann Inaba felt that the only way to grow was to be vulnerable which is what she did, but Inaba, ever the lift police, noted there was a lift at the end.
Len Goodman loved the subtlety of the choreography, but still felt Scherzinger showed a little lack of confidence, and she didn't quite settle more into her hip.
Bruno Tonioli loved the eroticism and romance woven into a routine of extreme beauty.
For their freestyle routine, they received straight nines for a 27, performing to "A Little Less Conversation" by Elvis Presley. They both started out in business suits and slightly green shoes. Derek has a slip up in one of the lifts and he did a re-do.
Inaba said they were this crazy high octane octopus.
Goodman saw lindy hop, salsa and hip hop. He thought it was fun.
Tonioli thought they had pushed the bar so high.
Over the ten weeks of this competition, Scherzinger and Hough received the top score for cha cha cha, jive, rumba, tango and freestyle. They were tied for first for foxtrot, paso doble, waltz and Argentine tango.
Their total cumulative score (which doesn't count toward the eliminations) was the highest score ever at this stage of the competition.
Previously, Hough won season 7 when he was partnered with TV host Brooke Burke.
