Lee DewyzeWho Is An American Idol Top 2 DeWyze Or Bowersox?:Thanks for visiting!American Idol Top 2 revealed! Casey James was the last to be voted out Wednesday from “American Idol”. This means that Crystal Bowersox, 24 year old musician from Toledo, Ohio, and Lee DeWyze, 24 year old paint sales clerk from Mount Prospect, Ill., will battle out for this season’s American Idol finale next week.

James, the long-haired 27 year old musician from Fort Worth, Texas, was revealed to have received the fewest viewer votes after his performances Tuesday. He sang “It’s OK With Me” and “Daughters” for the performance night.

DeWyze told that host Ryan Seacrest that he’s “never wanted to win more than I do right now.” He sang “Simple Man” and “Hallelujah” which gave him lots of praises from the judges.

“Everything that you guys have said has been helpful,” said Bowersox. She sang “Come To My Window” and “Maybe I’m Amazed”.

Tuesday’s American Idol performance night attracted 18.3 million viewers and gathered 47 million votes.

Result Of American Idol May 19

Posted on 20 May 2010 by Bilal

Result Of American Idol May 19Result Of American Idol May 19:Who got voted off American Idol on May 19 was revealed Wednesday night. Who got voted off American Idol on May 19 was decided based on Tuesday's night of two performances, where the Top 3 contestants all performed one song of their choice, and one that the judges chose.

It was an interesting night, but it was unclear which two contestants would be surviving this week on the show. Those performances, unfortunately, would end up dictating who got voted off American Idol on May 19, and who would be making it into the Top 2 for next week's season finale. In addition to that question was whether or not this episode of American Idol was going to run long as well (again).
The Guys:

Lee DeWyze
Casey James

The Girls:

Crystal Bowersox

Last week it was Michael Lynche that went home, with no clear revelation of who was in the bottom two with him. It showed that Crystal Bowersox might be at risk though, as she was the last contestant to be told that she was safe on the May 12 elimination show. Would Crystal Bowersox survive another week of the competition? Or could she be at risk out there on her own now? Would this be the week that Casey James failed to get enough support to stay on the show? Only the results show would know for sure!

The American Idol Results Show on May 19 was based on the performance videos that follow:

Crystal Bowersox Performs Come to My Window on American Idol May 18:

Crystal Bowersox performed Come To My Window on the May 11th episode of American Idol Tuesday. Crystal Bowersox's Come To My Window performance was her choice selection of the week. The
choice was an interesting one by Bowersox at first, but the arrangement may have betrayed her at the end of the day.

Casey James Performs:

Casey James performed Ok, It's Alright With Me on the May 18th episode of American Idol Tuesday. Casey James's Ok, It's Alright With Me performance was his personal choice this week on the
show. It was definitely a risk for him to undertake a song that might not be as recognizable to his fan base, but the judges also felt that it was too safe.

Crystal Bowersox Bobby McGee Rocks Out American Idol,The Story Behind Crystal Bowersox’s Cover Contribute a better translation

Crystal Bowersox Bobby McGee Rocks Out American Idol:

Crystal Bowersox Bobby McGee Rocks Out American IdolEvery week when we tune in to American Idol, we always look forward to the performance of one of the contestants more than all of the others. Although we are fond of several other American Idol hopefuls, such as Michael Lynche and Siobhan Magnus, it is hippie-chick Crystal Bowersox who has truly won our hearts this year.
For a show that prizes excessive emoting as a path to artistry, American Idol had a surprise last night: Crystal Bowersox took one of the most overrated songs in popular music, Kris Kristofferson’s “Me and Bobby McGee,” and made it not just listenable again, but actually enjoyable and revelatory.
Michel Lynche’s “When a Man Loves a Woman” once again showed off his big, powerful voice, but we found the song rather boring and stale. Still, we love Big Mike and hope like hell he ends up in the top three. As for the rest of the competitors, we were decently impressed with Siobhan Magnus – she’s quite growing on us. Casey James actually pulled off a rather okay version of “Power of Love”. We’re not a fan of Casey James, so it takes a lot to say we didn’t hate it too much.

The rest of the guys and girls this week were so pathetic we can’t even make a good guess at who will end up going home. It might Paige Miles, who was painfully terrible singing “Against All Odds”, but we’re still kind of hoping Tim Urban will get the boot despite the VotefortheWorst.com crowd.

Just on a completely random note, we’re a little insulted that Bowersox let Miley Cyrus sign her guitar. We’re sure Melissa Etheridge and the other notables gracing Bowersox’s instrument are shuddering at having that poser wannabe’s name scrawled so close to their own.
